The smallest effort. The biggest difference.
Then I noticed a habit I’d had for years
The night before an important meeting.
The morning I was meeting someone I hadn’t seen in years.
The weekend I decided to finally start something new.
Every time, I found myself doing my nails first.
I never thought about it.
It simply made things feel a little lighter.
Nails were never the last step in getting ready.
They were the smallest first step before beginning something.
Looking down at neat fingertips gave me a small kind of courage.
And most of my beginnings came right after that feeling.
But that small step kept getting heavier
My nails have always been weak.
Strengtheners, vitamins, careful routines,,, none of it held.
Gel left them thinner with every removal.
Gel strips meant waiting until the children were asleep,
opening the windows, turning on a UV lamp in the living room.
Something I did for a little courage
was starting to weigh on me instead.
So we set out to make our own.
Could we create a beautiful finish without compromising nail health?
