It begins at the fingertips.
What one designer had quietly wanted for years wasn’t a product.
It was a feeling, the quiet confidence of beautifully polished fingertips.
The Beginning
My nails have always been weak.
Nail strengtheners, vitamins, careful routines, I tried them all.
They kept breaking anyway.
I could be fully dressed, made up, and ready for the day, yet still find myself noticing my hands for all the wrong reasons.
It may sound small. But our hands are always in sight.
With every keystroke, every gesture, every reach, they are always in view.

The Compromise
Gel nails seemed like the answer.
That glossy, smooth finish was hard to resist.
But every removal meant harsh solvents, filing tools, and nails left thinner than before.
For someone with already fragile nails, gel wasn’t a real option.
It was a cost I couldn’t keep paying.
The Friction
So I tried semi-cured gel nail strips.
But even then, the process was far from effortless.
Waiting until the children were asleep. Opening the windows. Turning on a UV lamp in the living room.
Spending over thirty minutes on the whole process, with the lingering scent of solvents.
There was the concern about exposing my skin to UV light.
The unease of using chemical-based products in a home shared with family.
It wasn’t a real solution. It was simply another compromise.
So we set out to create our own solution.
With years of experience in design, and years of living with this exact frustration, I knew what was missing.
Not a trend.
Not a shortcut.
Something truly built around nail health, ease, and safety.
With medical insight and a designer’s eye, we developed over 100 gel formulas in pursuit of one question:
“Can we create a beautiful finish
without compromising nail health?”
LAONSI was born from this research
