Last weekend, LAONSI had the opportunity to take part in a small but meaningful experience in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Have you ever heard of Lions Club?
Lions Club is an international service organization dedicated to supporting people in need and helping vulnerable members of society through various volunteer and charitable activities. With chapters operating all around the world, it is also an organization that holds personal significance for us. In fact, my father was actively involved in Lions Club activities in South Korea, participating in numerous community service projects throughout the years.
Recently, we learned about the activities of the Lions Club in Kalkum, the district where LAONSI is based in Düsseldorf. Through this connection, we were invited to participate in a local fundraising event that aimed to make a positive impact within the community.
The event itself was both unique and enjoyable. Participants drove classic cars through different parts of the region, solving missions and answering questions along the way. Families, children, and local residents took part together, exploring hidden corners of the community and discovering places they might otherwise have overlooked.
Through participation fees, donations, and fundraising activities, the event successfully raised funds to support children affected by domestic violence. It was inspiring to see how a community can come together to create meaningful change and provide hope for those who need it most.
LAONSI is still a young brand in Germany,
and we are only at the beginning of our journey. However, we believe that growing as a business should go hand in hand with giving back to the community around us.
One of our core beliefs is that small actions can create meaningful change. While our contribution to this event may have been modest, we hope that even a small gesture can make a difference in someone’s life.
Moving forward, LAONSI aims to be more than just a beauty brand. We want to grow together with our community, support meaningful causes, and continue contributing in whatever ways we can.
We sincerely hope that this small act of kindness reaches the children who need it most.
